Fiberglass Framing Materials
Fiberglass is an excellent framing material for kites.
In the smaller sizes and diameters it also works well for
airplane models. It's beneficial attributes are its' strength
and durability. In small diameters it also has the ability
to easily bend allowing it to conform to shapes which are
not capable with the stiffer graphites. The larger diameters
are very cost effective in framing large kites. Available in
both solid or hollow core for a wide range of applications.
